Here's a Handy Little Icemaker Water Connection Adapter

This handy (and somewhat hard to find) brass adapter makes it easy to connect 1/4"OD copper (or plastic, but I recommend only 'refrigeration' copper) water lines to most refrigerator water valves.

It's also the perfect way to adapt a standard faucet with 3/4" 'garden hose' threads, to a 1/4" line to refrigerators, humidifiers, etc.
