If you own a Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchenaid, Roper, or Estate washer purchased within the last 20 years or so, then you’ll want to keep one of these on hand. 

This is a brand new direct drive coupler, and the latest style – the one that lasts a good long time!  This part mounts between the motor and gear case, and does all the work previously done by a belt on older machines.

This is a generic replacement for the 'OEM' Whirlpool. I used only genuine Whirlpool couplers for many years, but have found recently that these 'generic' ones are lasting longer!

If your washer uses the older, round type of coupler, believe me, its days are numbered. Those older versions just weren’t very reliable, but this newest one has been doing great!
