Here's the very popular Whirlpool 4391960 electric dryer heating element - ON SALE! Fits most 29 inch (wide) dryers made by Whirlpool, including Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchenaid, Roper, and Estate brands. 

5400W @ 240V, single coil (2 wire) element, the 'Long' one (as opposed to, yep, the 'short' one - 279838 - those are on sale too!)

This 'generic' kit replaces old numbers 279698, 279455 and a whole host of others. If you're in doubt about your model number, drop me an email and I'll make sure it fits yours.  It's a good idea to keep one of these on hand if you're at all handy and enjoy the affections of an admiring spouse (and clean laundry) <grin>.
