Rare, No Longer Available 70's Sunbeam Mixmaster Governor!

Orig. Sunbeam Part # 86631

86631GU Mixmaster Governor

Here's an extremely hard to find, no longer available new part - one of the few that fails with any regularity on the great vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster mixers we affectionately call 'PlasticMasters', made primarily in the 1970's. They looked like these:

Some typical service numbers (found on the rectangular beater ejector, where the beaters insert) are MMA, MMB, 1-7A, etc. Nearly all the Mixmasters that use this governor have removable cords that plug into the right side of the motor housing.

This is the part you most likely need when your Mixmaster won't turn off, but keeps running even with its knob set to 'OFF' (The on/off switch contact arm on the top of these governors breaks off, and that's when they just keep right on running). If you don't feel a definite 'snap' when turning it to 'off', then the contact arm has probably broken off.

This is a good/used, tested governor, and it's not hard to replace if you're just a bit handy with tools. Quantities are always limited, so if you need one, don't wait!
