Whirlpool-built
Direct Drive Washer Gear Case Test Driver
Made in the USA!

Here's a unique tool that's really handy for quickly
testing a direct-drive washer transmission, especially after rebuilding
it before reinstalling it back in a washer.
Chucked in an electric screwdriver or drill, this
driver allows you to instantly test-run your completed gear case to make sure you
have everything together correctly before reinstalling into the washer.
Take it from me, it's easy to put neutral-drain parts together wrong,
and this little tool provides peace of mind that all's well.
This has been a really handy tool for me and several
other techs I know, so I thought others would find them handy, too. They're a little more pricey than I'd like, but I have a lot of
time invested in each one, and they're made of quality materials. Their
shanks and hubs are solid brass, pinned to a plastic flatted drive hub
that mates to the transmission input shaft.
NOTE: We've tested these extensively on transmissions
that are removed from washers, but I will not warrant one if it's used
to drive a washer with the transmission installed in
the machine. I believe it would likely stand up to limited use that way, at least in
agitate, but I will not guarantee that. This tool is not intended to
drive the washer in place of its motor, but only to drive a "no load"
transmission, with no tub attached.
Current supply on these is limited because I build
them myself as time allows, and being a semi-retired "one man show"
these days, this is just one of a gazillion projects demanding my time.
Runs $14.50 plus $9.00 Priority
shipping/handling, $23.50 total (6% sales tax will be added if you're in
PA)
